About Us
We inform, help and support the creative community
European Comedy is a hub for all things English comedy on mainland Europe.
Founded in 2023 in conjunction with Barcelona’s Comedy Clubhouse, John Allis, we aim to connect English-speaking comedians and audiences throughout Europe. We see a future filled with European Comedy shows, workshops, publications, short-form content, podcasts, and more media with a focus on building up the English-speaking European comedy scene. For now, we are working to lift up the best talents based in Europe through awards and performance opportunities.
Mission
- Facilitate online and in-person connections throughout mainland Europe for producers, performers, and audiences
- Recognize and support comedic talent based in mainland Europe
- Drive audiences — tourists and locals — to shows throughout Europe within the European Comedy network
