Mariah Girouard on her Edinburgh Fringe debut, Good Girl
Maybe I have “little dog syndrome,” maybe I’m just a bitch. But what matters is that I’m a little bitch with a mission: to better myself. The biggest criticism I get is that I’m too mean or judgmental, but I’m just being honest. And I’ve learned that honesty isn’t always appreciated … except for when it is.
If you’re looking for a scapegoat, for someone that will say everything you’ve always wanted to but couldn’t out of fear of being a bad person then my show, Good Girl, is the rant that will heal you. In an hour of unhinged comedy I’ll complain about everything you hate so you don’t have to, and I’ll hopefully find a way to be a better person without sacrificing my insanity. I’m so bad, you’ll love to hate me. Or maybe, you’ll hate me for real. But regardless, there’s only one way to find out.
Check out Mariah Girouard’s Fringe debut, Good Girl, at the Comedy Clubhouse on July 20 at 16h as part of the Barcelona Fringe Day.
